Charlie Henderson & Celia Frachon Furniture restorers of antique and modern pieces in Bath , Frome, Bristol, Cotswolds

With more than 40 years experience between us, ‘Charlie & Celia’ have enjoyed a long and varied career in the fine art of furniture restoration. 

We are meticulous craftspeople with a wealth of knowledge. Between us we have a variety of skills from furniture repairs, French polishing, veneer work and marquetry, to staircase restoration, wood panelling and floor refinishing.

Items that are too big, can be worked on insitu with the minimum of fuss, dust and disruption. We are fully insured to work in your home. We also take on insurance work for water or fire damaged furniture and can provide a written insurance quotation.

Desk repaired in Bath, this was re- felted with a lush baize. The broken hinge replaced to secure the desk lid which was also damaged. Our Frome customer was delighted to recive it back in a much better condition

a built -in oak Victorian settle / window seat was stripped and French polished insitu as part of a larger building and joinery repair and restoration project where many antique oak and elm beams were repaired and refinished. This was near Bristol.
